Allmakes 4×4 Sponsored Charity Was Featured in Top GearPosted on: August 5, 2011 by admin
Project Mobility – the charity that helps war amputees and disabled ex-servicemen get back to the driving seats of modified Land Rovers – has been featured in the latest episode of Top Gear aired 31/07/2011. In the program, Top Gear presenter Richard Hammond was following their very first rally event in Wales signifying the start of their journey of entering the challenging Dakar Rally in 2014.
Allmakes 4×4 became the corporate sponsor of Project Mobility in 2010 and since then has contributed over £15,000 worth of Terrafirma parts and accessories to the organisation.
The award-winning Terrafirma – ‘Serious 4×4 Accessories’ program is designed to meet the exceptional demands of Land Rover users and enthusiasts and has won high profile recognitions across the world.
The Terrafirma products have been used in building of the Project Mobility’s numerous donated vehicles including the very first ‘Hattie’ Defender. In July 2010, Project Mobility’s team built up a Defender from scratch on the Allmakes 4×4’s stand at the Land Rover Billing Show.
Allmakes 4×4 is continuing its support for Project Mobility and its dream of entering the Dakar Rally in 2014.
