Job Title: General Manager Automotive SectorJob posted: 01/02/2012 - Closing Date: 28/02/2012 Location: East Anglia This is a unique opportunity for the right candidate, managing two established automotive aftermarket businesses with an opportunity for the right candidate to earn significant bonuses and potentially to own part of the businesses. Allmakes 4x4 is one of the leading distributors of parts and accessories for Land Rover vehicles. In 2011 the Company won Oxfordshire Business of the Year, Queen’s Award for Export and innovation awards for its new technologies. Since 2007 the Company has doubled its turnover and will reach £50M of turnover in the next 3 years. This position is for a General Manager to run two workshops and a parts delivery business. These are established businesses that have grown year on year. This appointment is due to retirement. The successful candidate will have experience in the automotive industry and will be able to demonstrate a proven track record in building businesses/departments. Customer management as well as man management skills are essential. The successful candidate must have a full driving licence, be able to use Microsoft office and to understand basic financial accounts. Please be aware that this position is based in East Anglia. This is not a 9-5 position, the successful candidate must be prepared to commit the hours and energy to drive the businesses but in return a competitive package could be earned as well as the opportunity to acquire/earn shares in these Companies.

Job Title: Warehouse Project ManagerJob posted: 01/02/2012 - Closing Date: 28/02/2012 Location: 39 Milton Park, Abingdon Oxon OX14 4RT This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate; this role will handle the day-to-day management of a project that rolls out a new warehouse management system (WMS) into our two Oxfordshire warehouses. Allmakes 4x4 is one of the leading distributors of parts and accessories for Land Rover vehicles. In 2011 the Company won Oxfordshire Business of the Year, Queen’s Award for Export and innovation awards for its new technologies. Since 2007 the Company has doubled its turnover and will reach £50M of turnover in the next 3 years. This position is for a Warehouse Project Manager. The role initially is for a fixed 12 month period but the role may become full time if the successful candidate demonstrates long term benefit. The successful candidate will work alongside our current warehouse managers and an outside consultant. Allmakes 4x4 is bringing on line our second 65,000 sq ft warehouse. Later in the year Allmakes 4x4 will introduce a new WMS based around a Kerridge platform. The successful candidate will have experience in warehousing and will have managed multi-site operations. Whilst the candidate may not have used Kerridge they will have used a WMS that includes hand held devices. The position will initially work with our current management and will identify process improvements. This role will carry out the initial admin involved with the new processes and as such the successful candidate will need to be able to use Microsoft Office. The position will report directly into the Managing Director and the applicant must be comfortable at reporting in at Board level. As the successful applicant will be the banner carrier for change in the warehouse, it is important that they can train warehouse staff in new techniques. This position will be based at our HQ. This is not a 9-5 position, the successful candidate must be prepared to commit the hours and energy to drive change but in return a competitive package is on offer with a bonus if it is a successful project implementation.
